Return & Exchange Policy

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Returns and exchanges must be requested within 7 days of delivery. To raise a request, email akaayufashionstore@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return or exchange. Our team will arrange a pickup from your address. Primary pickup is scheduled within 3–4 days of raising the request. If a pickup is cancelled by you or fails after 3 attempts, additional logistics charges will apply.
Conditions for Return & Exchange
All items returned or exchanged must meet the following conditions: • Unworn and unwashed • No makeup stains, perfume, or any other marks • Original tags intact and attached • Original packaging reused for shipment protection Please ensure you hand over the correct item to the pickup executive. We are not liable if an incorrect item is handed over. Additional reverse and forward shipping charges will apply to re-collect and reship the correct item.
Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange
The following are not eligible for return or exchange: • Items marked as 'Final Sale' or listed on clearance pages • Items that have been used, washed, or have tags removed • Orders where original packaging has been discarded before pickup • Customised or tailored orders — only alterations may be offered on a case-by-case basis, and must be requested within 7 days of receipt Certain select items may also be marked as non-returnable on their product page.
Damaged, Defective or Wrong Item Received
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please email akaayufashionstore@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with: • Your order number • Clear photos of the item • Photos of the outer packaging and any signs of damage • An unpacking video (strongly recommended) Please retain original packaging for 3–4 days after delivery. Claims raised after 48 hours or without adequate evidence may not be eligible for resolution. Items that have already been used will not be considered.
Exchange Timelines
Once the returned item is received at our warehouse, your exchange order will be dispatched within 3–4 business days. Delivery of the exchanged item then takes a further 5–7 business days depending on your location.
Refund Timelines
For returns, the refund will be initiated within 1–2 business days of the item being picked up. The amount will be credited to your original payment source within 5–7 business days after initiation. For prepaid order cancellations (before dispatch), the full amount is refunded to the original source within 2 business days. COD handling fees (₹50) are non-refundable.
Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled only before they are dispatched and before tracking details have been generated with our logistics partner. To cancel, email akaayufashionstore@gmail.com as soon as possible. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. In such cases, you may initiate a return after delivery.
